Find answers to common questions about setting up your MAJESTECH D8 gaming controller.

  • To connect your MAJESTECH D8, follow these steps:

    1) On your Majestech D8 controller, simultaneously long press either [RB] and [POWER] buttons for Xbox Wireless Mode OR [B] and [POWER] buttons for Playstation Mode.

    2) Go to your phone/tablet's Bluetooth settings and pair with the controller

    3) Connection is successful when the LED light remains constant on the controller

    4) Load up your controller-supported mobile game or cloud gaming app, and play! No button mapping needed.

  • Yes, the Majestech D8 controller is compatible with all iPhones, Androids, and tablets, including iPads, up to 252mm in width (under 11 inches).

  • Majestech works with controller-supported mobile games and popular cloud gaming platforms, including:

    Xbox Game Pass
    Xbox Remote Play
    PlayStation Remote Play
    Steam Link
    GeForce NOW

    Please note: some mobile games are touch-only and may not support physical controllers.

  • In most cases, no app is required. The controller works natively with supported games and platforms. Some advanced features or button remapping may optionally use third-party apps depending on your device, such as Shooting Plus V3

  • This is usually caused by one of the following:

    • The controller is in the wrong setup mode (iOS / Android / X-input)
    • The game does not support controllers
    • Bluetooth is disabled or not paired correctly
    • The controller needs to be charged

    Two main ways to connect that work with all controller-supported mobile games, cloud gaming and more:

    1) Xbox Wireless Mode: Press [RB] and [POWER] buttons

    2) Playstation Mode: Press [B] and [POWER] buttons
